Metro

The room was spacious, with a basic kitchen and microwave, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was good, and the staff were polite and helpful. Public transport connections are convenient, and there are several Indian restaurants nearby. A good place for a couple of days.

The room itself was basic but clean, and the staff were nice. Still, we paid 1,580 SEK (136 euros) for two people for two days, so it wasn’t as cheap as it might seem. The bedside lamp didn’t work, the bathroom door stuck in its frame, and although the booking description mentioned a coffee machine or tea maker, there wasn’t one. The area felt creepy, especially the two tunnels you have to walk through. At least the metro makes getting into the center easy. Breakfast was bare-bones: frozen toast bread and watery, tasteless orange juice. We even saw a rat outside by the hotel 😅.

The room was well looked after, breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were friendly. It’s a reasonably priced place with good links to the city center. The train station is about a 15-minute walk, and buses also run nearby. It’s a quiet area, though McDonald’s is roughly 15 minutes away on foot and open 24 hours if you need something quick and cheap late at night.

Miljana at reception was really friendly and helpful, and our room was clean, in good condition and functional. For an economical base while exploring Stockholm, it worked well. We didn’t hear street noise or rowdy guests. The metro stop, Midsommarkransen on the red line, is an easy eight-minute slow walk away. Leaving the station, take the path to the right and go up the stairs, and there’s a Coop on the left, handy for toiletries. There’s a shared kitchenette on the third floor, though some guests could treat it better. Breakfast had a good range of breads, cold meats, cheese, cereal, eggs, sausages and meatballs, plus toast facilities. Hot drinks were available all day. It’s a reasonably priced hotel, and you get what you pay for.
