Camping Djupdalen

We'd come back in a heartbeat. The sanitary facilities were fine and included in an already very affordable price, and the small campground itself was cute and well looked after. The host helped us carry our bags and showed us around. Both members of the host couple were exceptionally kind and courteous. In the evening, everyone was invited to gather by the fire and chat.

We spent a week at Djupdalen Camping, and it was such a lovely experience. It’s right by the Klarälven with a great view, and has a quiet, cozy atmosphere. We’ve stayed in plenty of places, and this is among the very best. The campsite is also very reasonably priced compared with others nearby. Patrick and Tiggy clearly care a lot about the place. They do their best to make guests comfortable, whether you need local information, have a special request, or just feel like having a chat. The grounds are kept very neatly, with comfortable showers and toilets, a playground, barbecues, and fire pits. There’s even a funny, quirky Dutch-style mini golf course. Boats for fishing and water activities are available to rent at a good price. Each evening, they light a fire in their lovely campfire cabin, where everyone is welcome to meet people from all over the world. You can stay in a stuga, a family house, a mobile home, or a tent, or arrive sailing down the Klarälven. We’ll definitely be back. This place is one of a kind and full of heart. Our best recommendation.

A lovely spot by the river, with a really nice campsite ❤️❤️❤️ The area is well organized for caravans, campervans, and tents 👍🫰 The reception and owner were super accommodating and friendly.
