The price was great, and the breakfast is always amazing. The staff were so helpful, and the park nearby made it quick to walk my service dog. We stayed while moving out of our apartment and getting it cleaned. The room was moldy, though, which is why I took off a star. I didn’t get to try the spa, but hope to next time.

The breakfast was very good, and the reception staff were friendly. There’s also a spa in the basement for a reasonable extra charge considering the high standard. It’s a cosy, family-owned hotel, close to the train station but far enough away to feel peaceful. The beautiful centre of Halmstad is about a 10-minute walk.

The breakfast was good, but neither the relaxation area nor the spa is included. The rooms and service also feel like they’re doing the bare minimum. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The location worked really well for us, with the beach and restaurants and bars within walking distance. The shopping centre was about an 8-minute drive away. It’s an animal-friendly hotel, and we’d stay again. We were there from Thursday to Sunday at the end of May. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our double room was average in size, with a small TV, shampoo, a hairdryer and a minibar. There wasn’t a bathtub, but we liked the room. Breakfast was very nice, with the usual open sandwiches, ham and cheese, plus yoghurt, waffles, eggs and bacon. The spa costs extra. We paid around 70€ for two people and guessed that covered the whole stay, though we only went one morning. It had a jacuzzi, a small heated pool, indoor and outdoor sunbeds, a sauna and paid treatments.
