On the way back to Copenhagen after a ski trip to Branäs, we stayed here for a night to relax before continuing. This was our second visit, and we had another lovely stay. We booked two rooms, both clean and comfortable, and well suited to children. The reception team were friendly and professional, and made us feel welcome right away. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. After checkout, I realized I’d left my watch in the room. Housekeeping found it and arranged to return it, which really touched me. We’ll definitely be back!

The location is excellent, and the breakfast was nice in a cosy breakfast room. I stayed in a junior suite, though, and the room had seen better days. The carpet was damp by the radiator, which seemed to have leaked a little.

I stayed in a small but lovely room on the second floor of Gula villan. It had everything I needed and was spotless and quiet. The bathroom products smelled amazing, and the shower pressure was impressive. All in all, a quality hotel right in the middle of the city.

I’ve stayed at this boutique hotel three times, and the attention to detail gets me every time. The flowers, lighting, furniture, wall colors, food, drinks and coffee all feel beautifully chosen, right down to the rooms and bathrooms. It’s a relaxed kind of luxury, whether you’re spending the night or just stopping for a fika.

The rooftop bar was a lovely surprise, and breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a while. Everything was fresh, with lots of choice, including vegan options like oat yoghurt and milk, vegan butter, and delicious homemade granola. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a view of the main square. The hotel is modern and stylish, and the service was friendly, attentive and professional. I’ll definitely return to the Mårtenson. I liked the room, breakfast and service. The rooftop food menu could be better.
