Landvetter Parkering

Call the parking service as soon as you’ve picked up your bags. The shuttle usually arrives at just the right time if you do that. Waiting until you’re already outside at the pickup point can mean a longer wait. The parking at Landvetter is great.

DO NOT USE. It took us a while to get hold of them when we arrived, so be prepared to wait. After five days, our car was covered in dirt, and it had also been damaged by the staff who park the cars. The owner refused to accept responsibility, saying the damage was old. From the pictures, the parking area looks small, and the cars are parked very close together. We had an unpleasant experience leaving our car here.

The parking and service were five stars, but the room itself was only okay. The walls barely blocked any sound, and the handle on the shared bathroom door squeaked so loudly it kept us awake all night. The toilet seat was even louder. Since people use the shared toilet at different hours depending on their flights, bring something to block out the noise if you stay here.

Getting to the airport went smoothly, but the return pickup was a different story. I called after collecting my luggage and waited 20 minutes before calling again. The guy yelled at me asking where I was, and said he’d already been to the airport several times, which I doubt. I’m still waiting as I write this. It’s March and pretty cold out here. The service works, but not perfectly.
