Villa Ekegården

Thina was so responsive, even late in the evening, and you can tell she really cares about the guests. The house is beautiful and clean, check-in and check-out were seamless, and there's food and drinks in the kitchen whenever you want. She even left a delicious cake on the counter. I think it's important to arrive with the right expectations. The facilities are shared, though they were extremely clean, and the place isn't on the main road. For me, that made for a really unique, warm stay. It's probably the best guesthouse I've ever been to.

Sweden was a great time, and this guesthouse was perfect. Thina is a wonderful person.

The rooms feel a bit old, and the bathrooms are shared, but the hosts are great. You can check in anytime with a code, they reply quickly, and there's everything you need for a proper breakfast, including freshly baked pie. Don't miss a walk outside to see the alpacas. A great place to stay.

It's very clean and good value for money, though getting there without a car is tricky and taxis are expensive. The villa is beautifully renovated and set in greenery near Gothenburg Airport, with a lovely room and an incredible kitchen. The fridge is fully stocked, and check-in is automatic with a password. Definitely worth going.
