I chose this place for a business trip because its location worked well for my travel. The shared areas were clean and cozy, and the crew were polite, kind, and willing to help. Breakfast was good, though finding a seat during the rush was difficult. My room was clean and OK, but it hasn’t been refurbished recently.

The hotel is very central, across from the train station and next to a mall, with trams and buses nearby. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast buffet had a good selection, although it got crowded at times and there was no control over who came in. I missed sunny-side-up eggs; they only served boiled and steamed eggs. Note that the classic rooms at the back on the third floor have no view, and the spa costs extra.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, opposite the central line station, with lots of trams and buses nearby. Restaurants and bars are less than a five-minute walk away, and a short tram ride takes you to an area with even more food choices and music. We booked the Premium Suite for an OH birthday weekend in Gothenburg, drawn by the location, balcony, and jacuzzi. They didn’t arrange anything extra for the birthday despite our request, but the staff were excellent from the moment we arrived. We had Premium lounge access as well as the restaurant. We visited the lounge once, but the choice was limited, so we ate breakfast in the main restaurant, which had an excellent spread of hot and cold options.

We had a very clean suite with a great layout and a balcony overlooking the city. Breakfast had lots to choose from, was very good, and wasn’t too crowded. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. It’s a perfect spot for getting into the city or taking the tram, and restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk away. 8 out of 10.
