We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t get to make full use of the hostel. Still, it had everything you need, and it was clean and fresh, with a really welcoming feel. The beds were pretty hard, but I had no other complaints. The surroundings are beautiful, and you’re near the swimming area, a huge playground, the harbor, restaurants, cafés, and the center.

We had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Vättern. The hostel is in a lovely old house from 1899, set in Statsparken in Hjo, and Stf has made it a cozy place to stay. You can feel the history in the walls.
