The restaurant serves tasty local food, and the reception staff were friendly and ready to answer questions. We loved the quiet tent pitches right by the lake, among our favorite spots in Northern Sweden. One drawback, though it didn’t affect us in the off-season, was that there were just two toilets and no separate lavatories. Still, highly recommended.

After several long hiking days in Sarek, we spent a very warm summer stay here and loved it. The views and pitches at the campsite are beautiful, and I think it’s very affordable for what you get. We were greeted warmly and felt at home right away. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful, they even picked us up from Kvikkjok. We stayed for two days at the end of August 2018 after walking the Kungsladen, and I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a lovely place to rest and recharge. The lodge is beautiful and set in an idyllic spot. The comfortable, roomy bedrooms are in nearby buildings, with a well-equipped kitchen and a drying room that was perfect for our wet walking gear. Breakfast was generous, and the evening meals were fresh and delicious. There’s also a shop to stock up before walking the next part of the Kungsladen. I’d stay again if I lived in Sweden.

A cozy, relaxing spot out in the Swedish wilderness, with friendly staff and good food. There’s plenty to do if you want, including canoeing, fishing, swimming, helicopter flights, and hiking.

The sauna out on the beautiful lake was unreal. The people were kind and friendly, and the food was delicious. We’ll remember these lovely days fondly.
