We arrived late at night in an emergency, after a friend had an accident. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, arranged rooms for us, and even reopened the bar so we could have a beer. I can’t recommend this place enough.

The bed was very comfortable, and I liked the breakfast, location, and atmosphere. Still, I was charged a lot more than the price we’d agreed on, and my food was stolen from the hotel room. Some areas smell, and most of the sauna showers were broken. For me, that adds up to a solid 2/5.

The food was great, and the staff were really friendly, with very good service. The rooms, though, need updating. They look like they were done in the 90s, the bed is small and not very comfortable, and the furniture is sun-stained and cracked. The bathroom walls even had two different kinds of tiles.

We visited in summer, when it was a quiet country hotel. Breakfast buffet started at 6:30. In the evening there was a buffet with two mains, as well as a small menu offering steak and hamburger.

A nice hotel in a good spot beside a beautiful lake. The entertainment facilities were good, and the couches by the fireplace were delightful on cold mornings. The beds could be more comfortable, and the interior and facilities show some age. The food could be better too. It wasn’t bad, but there’s room to improve.
