Breakfast was a real highlight, and since we had to leave early, the staff packed food for us to take along when we asked. They even let us bring dessert from the restaurant up to our room. We stayed two nights with our dog, and everyone was warm and accommodating. The hotel is modern, clean, and central, with comfortable rooms that were quieter than I expected. Everything went smoothly, and I’d happily stay again.

The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were friendly throughout. John Bauer Hotel also has a lovely art-inspired look, and everything felt very clean. Its location right in central Jönköping made it one of the best places I’ve stayed.

I’ve stayed here a few times and have always left in a good mood. The rooms are nice, and the restaurant serves good food, though it’s a bit pricey. Breakfast is decent too. The spa area is pleasant, but the sauna only reaches somewhere around 50 degrees, which is a shame when it’s called a sauna. Still, it’s been a solid stay every time, and worth five stars to me.

The dinner at the hotel was dreadful, though the breakfast buffet was great. Rooms are in good condition and the location is adequate, but parking isn’t convenient.

You’re between the lake on one side and the channel on the other, which makes the location hard to beat. Across the street there are several good places to eat, or you can sit on the benches and take in the view. The hotel staff were really kind to us, and breakfast was great too.
