The kind, smiling staff were easily the best part of my two-night stay at ProfilHotels Savoy Jönköping. Breakfast was decent, if unremarkable, and the price felt very high for what the hotel offers, though I think that’s common across Sweden. There’s no parking, indoors or out. The room was a letdown: dated decor, peeling walls, and very poor lighting. The TV was positioned so strangely that from the bed I could only see its back in the middle of the room. The bathroom was dim, and the beds had terrible old spring mattresses and the lowest-quality bedding. The fitness facilities were extremely poor too. The treadmill was very low quality, the stepper was completely broken, the bike displayed data incorrectly, and the sound system didn’t work. The Atlantis strength machines were old, but solid and reliable. The staff made the experience decent, but I certainly wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

The room was too small, and the hotel feels a bit old fashioned. The location right in the city centre is very good, and breakfast was nice. The women at reception were amazing, though the lady at the bar was a little less kind.

Breakfast offered a huge range for regular guests, people eating gluten-free, and vegans. Vegan choices included non-dairy and meat-free cheese, tofu scramble, pepperoni, wiener sausages, butter, and small brownies. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a great stay. The room met our standards and had a small fridge, which we appreciated. There was no air-conditioning, and the lighting and electrical wiring were strange but functional. The hotel has no parking, though there were plenty of spaces around the area.

The location is really central, with easy access to trains and buses going everywhere. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Whenever I needed information, they tried to find a way to point me in the right direction.

Breakfast had several options, and there are two elevators in the hotel. The room was big, with a very clean bed and floor, and there was shampoo and conditioner in the shower room. The corridors were nice too. There’s two hours of free parking nearby. The hotel has no parking of its own, but there’s a parking house close by.
