6/10
The service was really friendly, and having a good-sized gym right next door was a plus. Breakfast was decent, including chicken sausages for anyone avoiding pork, though I would have liked more fruit and nuts. The room, on the other hand, felt like a cheap dorm: the bed was too small and uncomfortable, and the room was seriously disappointing for the price. I’m glad the place is due to be renovated by the end of the year.

The breakfast was nice. The place is showing its age, but it’s still okay. Renovations are planned for later this year.

Breakfast was decent, but I’d like more vegan choices and clearer ingredient information so I don’t have to ask the staff. The rest was neither great nor terrible.

I spent nearly a year here while managing a manufacturing facility in nearby Forserum. The rooms are on the small side, but the hospitality and service were fantastic, and the staff made me feel at home. Being in the town centre, with so many options around and a gym and restaurant adjoining the hotel, made it a great place to stay. The Swedish people I met and worked with were great too.

Parking is awkward to use, and there wasn’t an iron in the room. The hotel felt run-down and poorly cared for, with worn old furniture and outdated room equipment. It also falls short of what I’d expect from other Scandic hotels.
