At 800-900 kr a night, this place costs far too much for what you get. The room service didn’t clean properly, and the rooms are badly soundproofed. I could hear everything from next door, including a young child crying through the night; even the doors are loud when opened and shut. It’s also in the middle of nowhere. Not a good experience at all.

The hosts were so kind, and it was wonderfully quiet among the natural surroundings. The little houses beside the lakes made this one of the most beautiful retreats I’ve seen. I’d absolutely recommend it.

There’s a lot of character here, something even The Ritz-Carlton can’t buy. The hotel has modern, fresh and clean rooms, plus free wifi and a lovely breakfast in the garden house. The care put into the details makes the place feel five-star. The photos really don’t do it justice, and I’d highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast room was lovely and the food was great, and the hosts were very friendly. We spent two nights here and loved the cute cabins by the edge of a large pond, especially how cosy and beautiful it felt in the morning and evening. I’d absolutely recommend it for a peaceful break from the busy city.

The owners, a couple who run the place, were warm and welcoming. We really liked the rooms and the grounds around the estate. It’s a lovely, quiet retreat outside Kalmar, and we’ll tell our friends about it.
