The setting is fantastic, right next to a little island with almost no buildings. We saw swans there in the morning, which explains the hotel name 😀. It's great value, but don't expect anything fancy. Hostel rooms have their own bathroom, very tiny but functional, while the shared shower is out in the corridor. Everything was very clean. The breakfast room is quite small, so it may get queued up in the morning when the hostel is full.

For 55 SEK, without sheets or blankets, it was just right for one night in the hostel. My room was small and a bit old, but very clean and had everything I needed. You can buy snacks and drinks at the lobby, and the prices aren't inflated. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. I'd definitely recommend it for hikers and the like!

The staff were very nice, and the hostel was quite adequate for that standard. One warning: don't leave food or drinks in the guest kitchen's pantry or fridge. It will get stolen, eaten, or otherwise messed with 😱. Bring a cooler and keep it locked in your room. Without that problem, my overall rating would be higher.

The room was small but unbelievably clean and tidy, and we really liked the coffee and bakeries here. It was beyond what we expected. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. The hotel is just outside the old town, with limited free parking on a first-come, first-served basis. You can walk into town in about 10-15 minutes. I'd really recommend the quiet, beautiful path around the lake (sea), with all the swans and birds.

The staff were nice, and the place was clean. Finding it from the train station was a bit of an adventure. The bus runs in a circle, and which direction you take makes a difference.
