Hotell Hilda

The staff are lovely, and their pizza is the most delicious I've had in Sweden. It's such a cozy little hotel, with a simple, nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms are great for the price. I'll definitely stay again.

The staff are so service-minded, the pizzeria on the first floor is nice, and the breakfast was more than good enough. We got a nice room on the second floor, though there was some street noise from people walking home from the city center, since those rooms are above the restaurant. The location, service, and staff make it worthwhile, and there's also a nice backyard. Altogether, there are 8 rooms in the backyard and 4 on the second floor of the restaurant. What a nice surprise.

The rooms were nice. Our only issue was the lack of blackout curtains. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of choices, though nothing hot.

We visited in October, and I still can't stop thinking about how quaint the hotel was. Everything had a cozy, homey Swedish feel, from the rooms to the intimate dining area, and the staff were super friendly. We loved it! Just know it's more like staying in a cozy room and experiencing Swedish life than a regular hotel. There weren't the usual things like hairdryers, conditioner, body lotion, or a mini fridge. And ask about the artwork, the photography is beautiful.
