The buffet had some of the best prime rib I've ever eaten. Our waitress was really kind and pleasant, too. We visited from the U.S. with a group of friends and had a very enjoyable time. It was busy, but never got too loud, and the old-fashioned theme and calming background music made it feel nice. If I'm back in the area, I might go out of my way to visit again.

Nice atmosphere, though they put me in a corner when I stopped for a beer.

We've been here a few times before and enjoyed it, so it was disappointing to spend a birthday here and leave feeling that the night was ruined. There were five of us, and our main courses took over an hour. Three of us ordered the "nattbakad ryggbiff" medium rare, but the steaks were cold inside and rare. There was nothing about them that suggested they'd been baked overnight. The fries were no better than what you'd get at a kebab shop. At 275kr for the dish, I expected much more.

The place looks inviting and sits close to the water, so we went in hungry despite the prices. We had hamburgers and fries, and left wishing we'd eaten somewhere else. Maybe the pricier dishes are better, but I doubt their fries are. If you just need a meal, the nearby Sibylla seems like a better, much cheaper option.
