Björkudden Hotell & Restaurang

We stayed in Sjöstugan and slept well in the comfortable beds. You can hear a little noise from upstairs and the doors, but it didn't bother us at night because the house was quiet in the evening. The outdoor space is great for little kids, and we swam in the ocean at the end of June, when the water was pleasantly warm. There are beautiful surroundings, a cool view of the bridge, and a nice dirt road for a short walk or run. The food was good, though pricey for the small portions. I'd have preferred a simpler menu with bigger servings. Breakfast was nice, with everything you'd expect, including good fresh bread and creamy scrambled eggs. We enjoyed it in the sunshine on the patio, and the staff were very friendly. I'd highly recommend this for families, unless you're very easily bothered by some noise from nearby rooms.

The food leaned toward fine dining and tasted great, but we waited a long time for it even though there weren't many guests. Lovely location, cozy rooms.

We only stopped for a quick winter stay, but we'll definitely return with our kids in summer. It's a beautiful old school building now used as a hotel, with room choices at different prices. There's a sauna, and you can go skinny-dipping in summer. Great service!

The location is top-notch, right in front of the Red Bridge, with spectacular nature all around. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. Rooms are nice and cleaned every day. WiFi was fast, over 60 mb/s, and there's a sauna. Highly recommend!
