We could easily rent kayaks and use the wood-fired sauna at decent prices. The place runs mostly on self-service, with a machine at the entrance, and there are good facilities, including free laundry. Our tent pitch overlooked the lake, and it stayed quiet with no road noise. One of the best little campsites we've stayed at.

The kitchen is fully equipped, and the common room is bright and spacious. Everything was clean, with hot water, though the Wi-Fi only worked around the service buildings and not by our tent. Our lakeside pitch was lovely, but the walk to the facilities meant we had to remember to bring everything from the tent. Check-in by machine was first class. I took off a star because care from the owners seemed lacking: a kitchen tap stayed broken for the few days we were there, and we had to hack at the washing machine to get it to drain. Small things, but there was room to improve. Stock up on the way in, since the local shop isn't well equipped.

The facilities were good and the prices reasonable, but the campsite was crowded with tents this summer. We ended up putting ours in a small open spot high on the mountain, about 500m, maybe, from the toilet building. There was already a queue for the toilets in the morning, so a few extra dry toilets near the tent fields would have helped.

We had sun all day at this small campsite above a little bay. Some spots are tucked away and feel nice and quiet. The cabins are another option, and the showers were hot and clean. The lake views were spotless, and the sunsets were great.
