Pensionat Villa Orrbacken

We rented the smallest apartment, which was clean and well equipped. It’s within walking distance of Skuleberget. The couple who welcomed us were warm and very service minded.

We spent four days here, 21-25 July, while discovering the High Coast, and it was lovely to return to the apartment after a long hike. La caverna is a fantastic little apartment near Skuleberget, about half an hour on foot or 10 minutes by car. It’s fresh, with everything we needed in the kitchen, plus a cozy patio with a gas grill. The owners were kind and helpful throughout our stay. Thank you for a lovely holiday Villa Orrbacken! 😁 Highly recommended.

The breakfast was fantastic, with fresh strawberries and fruit, juices, milk, coffee and tea, plus plenty of breads, biscuits, cold cuts and cheeses. There were also 6-7 kinds of jam, different phyllo and yogurt, several mueslis, dried fruit and seeds. The guesthouse is close to the E4, handy when passing through, and the couple running it were really nice and service oriented. The rooms were personal, nicely done and to a high standard. Just a small minus for the slightly shorter bed in the Danish room. We’d be very happy to come back!

Family friendly, renovated and homely, with hospitable staff, especially Lina. The breakfast was better than a hotel breakfast, and the private bathroom was nice. The only missing star is because the bathroom and private toilet were in the hall, though everything else more than made up for it.
