Each floor has a roomy shared breakfast area and a kitchen with everything you need, which works well for families and groups. Breakfast is self-serve and has plenty to choose from, including lactose-free and gluten-free options, handy if you're heading out on the trail. The hotel sits near the Höga Kusten trail, a bus stop, and a grocery store. The exterior isn't especially inviting, but inside it's nicely furnished and the rooms have been renovated recently.

The owners were warm and helpful when I had an unusual request. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the facilities are useful for hikers, including a drying room, guest kitchen, and secure lockers. I'd pay extra for a room with a sea view.

It felt really homey, and I slept well. The room windows look out onto nice views, and everywhere was very clean. There's also a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook a meal.

The room was cosy, with a forest-patterned wallpaper, and I liked having a self-service kitchen available. I arrived in Docksta around 10 pm during a drive across Sweden in October 2021. No one was at reception, but a note on the door said to call the receptionist, who lives nearby. A very pleasant man came over about three minutes later and checked me in. The room was a little colder than I like, which is the one thing I'd improve. Apart from that, it was my top choice in Docsta.

Breakfast had a good range of choices. The room was fresh and neat, the bathroom was very nice, and the bed was fairly comfortable.
