The rooms are nice and clean, but I’d avoid this place if breakfast matters to you. It’s simply below what’s usually offered at this price.

Being able to charge our car overnight makes this a perfect fit for us. We’ve stayed here many times and keep seeing improvements and new development. Even arriving late, everything is easy to figure out, and getting help is simple if we need it. We’re very happy with the hotel.

For 1200 SEK a night, I expected a higher standard, so I’ll look at other options next time. The hotel worked for our family stop on the way to the mountains, though. Our spacious family room had a small kitchenette, but no place to store clothes, which wasn’t a problem for just one night. It was quite cold inside with -10C outdoors, and while cleanliness was okay, there was a drain smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was passable, but the choices were all cold and limited to bread. The building seems to have been converted into a hotel, and its age shows.

The staff were the best part of my six-week stay: friendly, super helpful, and glad to share ideas for things to do, places to eat, and attractions. Breakfast was nice each morning, and there are walking and jogging paths nearby. Lake Vänern is within walking distance too. I had a wonderful time here and would gladly come back. Great hotel, and I’d recommend it to anyone.

The charger was a plus, but the rooms need renovation. The toilet was leaking, some cutlery was missing, and breakfast could use more variety. It was okay.
