We stayed for a week in late August 25, two adults with our two children. It's worth knowing this is a managed holiday apartment site rather than a hotel. The receptionist was around through 8pm, and the neighbours were friendly. It was peaceful, too. The outdoor pool was a real bonus, since there aren't many like it in Visby. The water was warm at the end of summer, though I couldn't tell if the pool is heated or if we just got lucky. There's a free laundry room, which came in handy for freshening up our clothes, plus plenty of car parking and a place to store bikes. Visby's old town is about a 15-minute walk away. The rooms are basic but fine, and having a kitchenette made it easy to prepare food instead of eating out every meal. I would've liked a soft chair or sofa in the living area.

The room was uncomfortably hot in summer, with no AC, even though we'd specifically filtered for hotels with AC when booking through Expedia. There were no toiletries, and the sheets didn't feel properly washed. You're expected to clean the place yourself, and leaving rubbish means an extra charge. The building looked much less appealing in person than in the photos, and the area seemed residential. I wouldn't book again if we can avoid it.

The pool is a plus, and the place works well for families and cyclists. Staff were friendly, too. Still, the price feels high for what's offered, it's not as close to the centre as claimed, and you have to do your own cleaning during the stay.

For a straightforward summer stay in an apartment, this place worked really well. The staff were very helpful, and it's particularly convenient for cyclists. It's not luxury accommodation, but I'd recommend it highly to people touring by bike.

The rooms were fresh and lovely, and Visby was close by. The only downside was demolition work about 20 metres from our room. Our car got covered in dust and suffered some damage from rock chips. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel.
