We spent two nights in the bubble and really enjoyed the unusual stay. It’s right by the forest and lake, with lots of space around it. There’s a BBQ outside and even a coffee machine inside. The bathroom and sauna in the main building were clean, heated and up to date. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Helena was kind and helpful throughout the planning, which made arranging the day easy. We had our wedding party at Molnbyggen and were delighted with everything, from the setting and venue to the service and food. Everyone appreciated the fresh, tasty dinner and the breakfast buffet the next day. I can see Molnbyggen Strand working well for weddings, conferences, company parties and summer camps.

The room was bright, fresh and well cared for, and the bathroom had a good amount of space in the shower. The place has been renovated and feels cozy, with just the right number of rooms and guests. Staff were very accommodating, and breakfast was wonderful.

When we met in July 2018 to discuss accommodation for our guests traveling to our planned summer 2019 wedding, we were quoted a price. But when we tried to confirm the booking, the prices had changed, and they said we’d have to rent the “bubble” for the full stay, even though we’d already said we didn’t want it. The staff renting it out were nice at first, but after our second contact I felt I should warn people planning bigger events. The pavilion rental cost 20000:-, and as far as I could tell, that only got you the pavilion. They didn’t provide place settings, plates, cutlery or coffee cups. If I remember right, a projector was available to rent. It’s sad to see such a nice place seem so focused on money. I’m fairly sure they won’t fill the 40 beds we wanted to book for our wedding weekend there.
