We came back for a second visit and were welcomed warmly again by the helpful staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a hotel-like feel, and dinner was really well made. The chocolate fudge cake was the best I've ever had, and I've tried plenty. Breakfast had a nice spread of homemade things. Since it's an old school, there's an old gym hall too, which our kids loved. It's a great place to stop while travelling through Sweden, though we could easily spend a whole Dalecarlian weekend here.

The daily dinner menu is sent to guests by SMS, and breakfast was great. There are no alcoholic drinks available, though you're allowed to bring your own. The old school building dates to the late 1800s and became a B&B in 2019. It now has 12 guest rooms with 40 beds in total, plus glamping tents. Kids have plenty of open green space to run around in, with swings and a football field, and indoors there's a gym with a ping-pong table. The small lake Opplimen and its bathing spot are within walking distance. Probably the best B&B by lake Opplimen?

The breakfast was the best I've had in the region. Glamping is now high on my list for a future trip. I'd highly recommend staying here, or at least stopping in for lunch or a café.

The host was so welcoming, helpful, and sweet, and everything felt clean and organised. Breakfast was fresh, with lots to choose from. Our room was spacious and the beds were really comfortable. We stayed one night with our kids, aged 12, 9, and 5, while heading to Åre. After 8-9 hours in the car, it was great to have access to the old school gym hall, with rings and a ping-pong table, so we could move around and play together. We'll be back!
