Skogshem & Wijk

The welcoming staff are spontaneous and hospitable, and the large, modern hotel has a pleasant, friendly atmosphere with a palace-like layout. It sits amid nature beside a large river. The rooms, though, are very cramped and there is no air conditioning. You also need to bring your own towels for sanitary reasons.

The people here were the standout, genuinely helpful and some of the best service I’ve had in Sweden. We came for a corporate outing, and the place worked great for both serious work and fun. Along with the usual meeting rooms, there’s an epic arcade with pinball machines and a fussball table. Fantastic facilities.

The view and setting are amazing, and there are lots of rooms in very good condition. It’s a huge conference hotel, with a restaurant, wellness center, gaming room, and plenty more. The food is alright, though the lunch menu could be better. I think it’s a good conference center in general. The wifi is very poor in the small conference rooms, and it would help to have a screen in the mini-conf rooms.

Clean, tidy rooms, with a kettle and tea and instant coffee in the room. There was also complimentary coffee in reception, and it was pretty good. The meals were very tasty, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely setting, too, with a gym, pool, sauna, table tennis, billiards, and shuffleboard.
