We had a lovely stay in this villa, with nature all around. The rooms were comfortable, and the roomy kitchen had plenty of space. There were several bathrooms too, and checking in and out was easy.

There are plenty of room types to choose from, so it seems suited to different kinds of travelers. The area is beautiful and has lots to explore. Some parts of the historic hostel buildings are really nice, while others are quite worn.

The breakfast we booked ahead at a nearby cafe wasn't worth the price. The location is ideal for a visit to Älvkarleby, and both the rooms and shared areas were clean and tidy, though my room felt a bit small. I didn't meet any staff, but email communication went smoothly.

Josefin was warm and welcoming, and got back to us right away whenever we had questions. Our employees stayed here for a few days on a business trip to Sweden. The rooms were clean and nice, and the elegant design throughout made it feel like home. The location worked well too. We'd gladly recommend it for either a work trip or a peaceful holiday, and would stay again if we needed to.

The surroundings are lovely, with the huge river close by. You can go fishing or just take it easy. I've stayed at Älvkarleby Vandrarhem several times in recent years, and the facilities have always been clean. Extra towels and sheets are available to book when needed.
