The dinner cost 700, so you can decide whether it felt worth it. It was three small starters, a main, and dessert, rather than a five-course meal. The food was very nice, as was breakfast. We stayed on a Thursday when the place was almost empty, paid for a superior room, and got a tiny room with single beds. The annex was completely empty, so putting us in the smallest room felt like typical Swedish hospitality. The manor house has large common areas, though the furniture needs new upholstery.

The food alone made the stay memorable. Halfway through the 8-course dinner, it really sank in that this was going to be a night to remember. The care, professionalism, and love behind the whole experience are hard to describe. Reception, the room, furnishings, and interior design all felt impressive, authentic, and handmade. Strongly recommended.

Andreas, the owner, is so friendly, and you can see his passion for the property in everything. I told him in advance that my husband and I were both vegan and gluten-free, and he made us the most amazing food during our stay. Every room is unique, like a little time capsule.

The food was incredible, and our hosts made the visit lovely. I loved the old building, preserved and displayed almost like a museum. Such a gem in the lakes district west of Stockholm.
