Best Western Hotell Ljungby

Easy to reach from the E4, with chargers for electric cars. A handy stop while driving through Sweden. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast was good, with allergens clearly marked.

The room was quiet and clean, and the beds were comfortable. At breakfast, the bacon was great, but there was very little scrambled egg. The gluten-free bread and knäckebröd selection was also sparse. Please ask someone with coeliac disease to advise on tastier options. We came in at 7:30 when there were only a few guests, yet none of the available tables were clean.

The kids were thrilled with the bunk beds, and there was a small playground outside too. Our room was clean, and despite being so close to the E4, we didn’t hear traffic. Breakfast was very good. A great place to stay with two young children.

We stayed outside the city centre and had a really nice experience. Our family room had enough space for two adults, two children, and our dog. There are green areas beside the hotel for the dog’s morning and evening needs, plus a small playground for kids. The location by the main road makes it quick to get in and out. You can even see Biltema from the hotel window ;). A petrol station, Sibylla, and a supermarket are all within walking distance. We only stayed overnight and didn’t use the hotel restaurant or other services.
