Elite Hotel Esplanade

We had a spacious, quiet room on the third floor, though the bathroom ventilation wasn't working. The hotel is very central. Breakfast had everything you could want, but the room where it was served was very dark.

The breakfast spread was massive, easily four times bigger than a typical good breakfast, with just about anything you might want. There were eggs, bacon, frikadeller, six kinds of bread and pastries, four jams, six yogurts, several cereals, muesli, granola, seeds, fruit toppings, berries, six cold cuts, cheeses, pickled herring, smoked salmon, four juices, and a smoothie. Yum. I'll be back next time I'm in town! I loved this hotel and found it very affordable, under $100USD. My standard double had plenty of space and was extremely quiet, with excellent beds and a choice of pillows, including extra flat, tempurpedic, down, or down-free. It's in a great spot beside one of the main squares. The staff were helpful, responsive, and friendly. There's a good gym, elevators, and an excellent AC system, which isn't always a given in Europe. I also care that Elite Hotels of Sweden is Green Key certified and offers a sustainable choice.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel itself felt modern and cozy. Staff were welcoming and friendly, especially those in the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious with a nice range of choices. It's in the heart of Malmo, about a seven-minute walk from the train station. Restaurants, shops, plazas, and attractions are just steps from the entrance. I definitely recommend it.

The rooms are neat, clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the staff are professional and helpful.
