Good Morning+ Malmö

The friendly staff and convenient location were the only good parts for me. The place feels run-down, and the cleanliness fell well below expectations. Breakfast was very limited and badly managed. Food wasn't replenished to match the number of guests, so arriving a little later often meant there was hardly anything left. This happened each of the three days, not just once. My room smelled stale, as if it hadn't been aired in years, and had no air conditioning. It was also missing basic things like a safe, fridge, hairdryer, and iron. I honestly can't understand how this property gets more than one or two stars. In my view, one star matches the experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location is fairly central, and public transport and shopping are just around the corner. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and well stocked, with choices to suit everyone, including hot food and lactose-free and non-dairy milk. For our two-day family stay in Malmö, it was convenient and excellent value for the price. Goof morning+ in Malmö may have seen better mornings. The rooms are old, though some of the furnishings and decor have been updated. Only one small window in our room opened, and there was no AC. Outlets were only on one side of the queen-size bed, so only the person on that side could plug in and use devices at the same time. The shower was small and dated, but the water pressure and heat were great. We were on the third floor. The beds were comfortable for me, though my husband didn't care for them.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and customer service was top notch. You can park in the secure car park just outside the hotel for EUR16 per day. The hotel badly needs a major refurbishment, though. The rooms are dated and the carpets old and dirty. My main complaint was the slooooow internet speed. That's not acceptable.

The hotel restaurant is quite good, with tasty, affordable Swedish dinners. Better meatballs than IKEA! For a grocery run, there's a large store right around the corner, and a lovely park for an evening walk. The seagulls are relentless, so keep the windows closed in the mornings. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms. It's not especially luxurious, but the price is very good for a large, comfortable bed and room. Public transport can get you to the city centre, though figuring out the journey takes time and effort. The Skanetrafiken app kept insisting I walk a kilometre to mobilia instead of using the nearby busstop isstadion.
