The owners were so helpful and friendly. Our cottage was gorgeous, and the setting was wonderfully quiet. In the mornings, we sometimes saw deer and rabbits, while people were a rare sight. We made stick bread over the fire pit in the large garden. The power went out on our first day, which was the only drawback, though it became part of the adventure.

We had a lovely meal at the main Kröken restaurant, and the place was spotless and well equipped. The upper floor, shown in the pictures, takes a bit of agility and a slim build to reach. If you want somewhere peaceful, this fits. Åkershult will stay a happy memory for us. Thank you!
