Rasta Mariestad - Rattugglan

We ordered for eight people, and every meal arrived cold. They could at least have microwaved the meatballs. I can only hope we don't get food poisoning from eating them cold. I returned the side salad to the counter because it smelled bad and looked really old. The ordering system doesn't print a receipt even when you choose that option, so there's no way to check what you ordered. The food was bad and overpriced. Don't eat here.

The worst meal I've had out in Sweden. It left me feeling nauseous. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

For what it is and where it is, this is a brilliant place to eat. The meatballs and sides are very well seasoned, and Swedish meatballs are usually available at this restaurant chain. Salad buffet comes with the price, and you can choose a smaller portion. Service was kind, delivery was lightning fast, and the prices were affordable.

During the epic snowstorm on April 2, 2024, the two male hotel staff on duty that evening took care of everyone so calmly. They eventually opened meeting rooms and found spare beds for people, including us, who had been sleeping in the lobby. That meant everyone could get a decent night's sleep before setting out on the snowy roads. Thank you!!!!!
