Our room had three bunk beds and felt both comfortable and roomy. A nice surprise was that rooms 1-3 share a fully equipped kitchen and living room, and have a washer and dryer in the bathroom. Other rooms use a communal kitchen by the dining area and don’t have laundry machines. Breakfast was a good cold spread for a B&B, with plenty of grain and dairy or non-dairy choices, four kinds of soft bread, three kinds of crispbread, and ten teas. Service was quick. It’s close to the train station and has ample parking. Good value, since linen, towels, and breakfast are included, unlike nearby hostels in the same price range.

The room was spotless, though a little battered in places, and it was small but perfectly usable. Check-in and checkout were very easy, and the staff were helpful and fluent in English and Swedish. Breakfast was a surprisingly good buffet. The B&B has parking, and it’s a pleasant short walk into downtown. The station is about five minutes away on foot, if the construction lets you through. We’d happily stay again.

There’s plenty of parking at the front and back, plus a kitchen where guests can make lunch or dinner. Breakfast is a tasty vegetarian buffet. The hotel also took care with COVID-19, with plenty of hand sanitizer and breakfast split into two groups to avoid crowding. Rooms are simple and clean, and most have their own toilet and shower. This is a modest, no-frills B&B/hotel, but I’ve stayed twice in the last year and was happy both times. For the price, it’s very good value, especially since bed linen and cleaning are included, which is unusual in this range. Nothing to complain about.

The beds were comfortable, but I can’t say the place was clean. There was dust all over behind the beds, and cleaning fell short of what I expected. The hostel feels run down, with very little updated since the 1980s. The mismatched furniture and decor looked like it came from a flea market, without feeling charming. Breakfast was OK, but entirely vegetarian. Two mornings there weren’t enough tables and chairs indoors, so we had to eat outside. The weather was nice, fortunately, but I’m not sure how they manage in cold or rainy weather. We stayed three nights and unfortunately can’t give it more than one star.
