Lindeborgs Eco Retreat

Julia was so welcoming and kind, and happy to tell us what she thought about the region. We came with our two one-year-old kids and felt at home. This was one of the best places we've ever visited. We loved it and will definitely come back. A must-go!

What made the stay stand out most was the amazing food. We also had a really relaxing time in the lovely countryside, with a sauna, natural pool and jogging tracks. It was great!

We stayed in one of the suites for two nights and three days, and it had great equipment for cooking. The housing was beautiful and comfortable, with amazing scenery around it. The place felt like one of the most relaxing spots on earth after leaving the everyday rush behind. We went in the dark of winter, and experiencing that darkness without nearby light pollution felt almost supernatural. You could hear the wind and the wood stove together, which was a joy. There was no noise pollution either, and we didn't hear a single car engine. We hardly saw anyone, apart from a few sheep from the farm who came to greet us in the morning. There's a sauna with a marvelous view over a small lake, plus a room for meditation, yoga or basic exercises. Barbecue equipment is available if you visit at the right time of year. The farm offers different retreats, events and other activities, or you can simply rent one of the two suites with 4 beds, the double room with 2 beds or the cottage with 5 beds for an eco-break. The family running the farm are super nice. If you've forgotten something, they'll help; arriving early or late is no problem either. Julia and Carl both seem keen to help guests relax. I can't think of better people to run such a beautiful place. Thanks, we'll surely be back!

The people were very friendly, and the accommodations super comfortable. A lovely spot to unwind, enjoy nature and try the vegetables, herbs and honey grown locally on the farm.
