Lövhagens Café & Vandrarhem

The location is tranquil and not far from home, but lunch was a letdown. The pie had no taste, the salad was boring, and at 109kr I expected something more interesting. The menu was very limited and dated.

I came from Stockholm for a day trip and found plenty to do in the local nature, from spending the day in the forests to sunbathing on the beaches or just relaxing in a cottage with coffee and a book. The Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a variety of dishes at really solid prices, along with drinks and ice cream.

I only stopped for a drink. The terrace is pleasant for sitting in the shade, the toilets are clean, and there are great walks nearby. Prices are normal. You can stay overnight in a camper at the nearby parking area, though young people meet there at night to drift their cars. I'd stay farther down the road.

We waited 50 minutes for a basic sandwich. When we asked, the staff gave us bad looks and said, “we do what we can.” Then we watched people who ordered after us get their food first. The service was slow and inefficient. You need to learn some basics of customer service. It comes across like you don't need customers, but big businesses have fallen regardless of location or weather.
