Mojo Hotell

Breakfast was very good, and the staff were incredibly nice. Our room was small but modern and clean. There were a couple of downsides: a very loud extractor or heating fan rumbled all night and couldn’t be switched off. The room also opened onto the central courtyard, where staff tipped out empty bottles after the restaurant and bar downstairs had closed, so that was noisy too. It’s a lovely hotel in a central location.

The room had a TV with Netflix, and there was a breakfast room with pretty good decorations. We could hear a lot of noise at night, though. The hotel was okay, and its central location let us visit some restaurants and a church.

The one good thing was Nathalia’s service and smile. The hotel loses its “Mojo” once you walk up the stairs, which were dirty too. Hygiene was awful: the rooms were outdated, the beds smelled musty, and the hallway was dirty. We changed rooms after complaining, but found the same problems and an even worse bathroom. The shower was broken with black mold all over it. The dining room was dusty and the breakfast tables were dirty. This doesn’t deserve to be called a four-star hotel. Never again!

The beds were comfortable, the interior charming, and the location central. But breakfast only ran from 7 to 9, and the selection was basic, with no hot food like bacon or scrambled eggs. We could hear what was happening outside very clearly. Hotels.com also gave wrong information about luxury toilet items. I expected something like Byredos, or at least Rituals, but there was nothing like that. The hair and body soap was an unknown all-in-one brand, and the hand soap was the cheap kind sold in grocery stores.
