The chicken was easily the best I've ever eaten, and I can't imagine anything topping it. We had a lovely stay. The rooms were an acceptable size and there were plenty of bathrooms. We did have to make up and change our own beds, but that was fine.

Our group of 11 spent two lovely nights here. MARIE and LAZA welcomed us warmly. The rooms were doubles or twins, with shared toilets and showers. Some rooms had an extra twin, and each had a couple of small tables and chairs, a few hangers and a dresser. Our windows looked onto the street or village. There are several sitting rooms and a balcony where we could chat and play board games. It felt homey, with plenty of corners to explore. The hosts were excellent, and it's an easy walk to food, groceries, a weaving shop and more. Breakfast ran from 8 to 10 on the first floor. There were pourable yogurts, fresh fruit, four juices, bread, homemade blueberry, strawberry, fig and gooseberry jams, soft-boiled eggs, cold cuts, vegetables and sliced cheeses. The smoked version of jamon serrano ham was wonderful. We could sit inside or in the indoor patio area, or take breakfast to the second-floor balcony overlooking the village. Coffee, tea and water were available around the clock. We could use two kitchens. We picked berries on the grounds and made jam in one of them. A chef prepared our evening meals: tomato, cucumber and fresh Swedish cheese salad, quinoa and vegetable salad, fresh bread and eggplant salad. One night there was a beef dish and broiled salmon, and the next, delicious sausage.

The rustic cabin had everything we needed, plus a sauna and EV charging that we hadn't expected. The whole place was peaceful, and the owners were kind and glad to suggest places to see nearby. One of the best places we've stayed. We'll definitely come back.

I was torn between going to Tällberg and staying here, but I'm glad I chose this place. The house is cozy and in a great spot, with an amazing lake view. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast in the room with the morning sun was a real pleasure.

The houses have a classic Swedish look, and breakfast was delicious. The owner was so sweet and welcoming, even lighting the fireplace for us. Such a cute, cozy place. I really recommend it and will definitely be back.
