Hemma hos Jeanette & Micke på Peresgården

The breakfast was the highlight by far. Jeanette had set places for everyone around a big table, so guests could sit together and chat, even with people they’d only just met. There was an incredible amount of good food, and we lingered for ages. The photo was taken before Jeanette had finished setting everything out, the table was piled high afterward. We weren’t expecting much at first, since it was a little hard to find without signs, though I could have checked the pictures. What a place, though. The accommodation is next to their own restaurant, which is a gem, and Jeanette and Micke gave us such a warm welcome. The rooms were fresh, with a shared bathroom.

We stayed for two nights while going to see In Flames at Dalhalla, my little brother and me. Our apartment had a fireplace and a lake view, and it felt like being at home with an extra mom and dad on vacation. The hard rock breakfast buffet was super nice, and we’ll definitely come back. There’s also a great restaurant and bar in the evening, a cool spot to hang out in the yard, and a very cuddly dog. 🐶👊🤩

Peresgården is a cozy B&B on the slope along the north side of Lake Siljan, a little outside Rättvik. From my room I could see the village’s red timber buildings and the lake below. A really lovely spot!

The colors and furniture in the yard have a wild feel, and the place is furnished and decorated in a wonderfully crazy way. I like that they dared to rebuild the garage, barn and so on. It’s in Vikarbyn, and I’d happily come back more often. Feels like a cozy home.
