The beaver safari by canoe was a highlight. We saw beavers, moose (elk), hooper swans, bats, and more on the trip, with our fantastic hosts sharing what they knew. My wife and I spent a week here in mid-April 2022, and the whole place was so peaceful, with hardly any human-made noise, just birds echoing around the valley. The rustic house was comfortable and picturesque, and there are beautiful nature spots all around. If you want a break from the rush of everyday life, this is a great place for it. We hope to come back next year.

The Black River and lake Hallsjön are within walking distance, so it’s a great base for bird and wildlife watching. There are also plenty of nearby places to see a good variety of species, and we spotted a beaver in the river channel close to the accommodation. We really enjoyed our time at Eden's Garden Cottages. The house is comfortable, the surroundings are beautiful, and we only wished we could stay longer.

Eagles, ospreys, beavers, snipe, curlew, sandpipers, whooper swans, lapwings, and lots of other wildlife made this a fantastic place to enjoy nature. There’s so much to see and hear around you. The accommodation was spacious and well equipped, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. Thank you.

It’s wonderfully quiet, surrounded by nature, and a great place to get away for a while. There are lots of different birds around, so birdwatchers should enjoy it too. The two people running the place are lovely and clearly put a lot of care into it. I hope I can return sometime.

We parked our mobile home at the B&B and went on a beaver safari. The welcome was very warm, and the hosts were kind. The next day, he helped us book a visit to the Sala silver mines and a tour of the burned area in väatmanland.
