There are several restaurants in the plaza nearby if you want to explore. The hotel also has a small pool, gym, and sauna, plus comfortable rooms and good food. Parking is in a separate garage, about a two-minute walk away. We stayed here with my family, and if you need somewhere near Gävle, I’d choose this place instead.

This was my first time in Sweden, and I absolutely fell in love with FIKA. The hotel food was varied and delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Just be aware that the pool shown in the photos is only for a dip after the sauna, since the water is 18 degrees C.

We stayed for almost a week in this calm, beautiful location and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a "Boston" theme. The reception and service team were so friendly. Maja was especially kind and helpful, and always had a nice smile.

The breakfast and dinner were very good, and there’s a small gym, pool, and sauna. It’s a nice, no-frills hotel. The main downside is that not all rooms have air-conditioning.
