Stenungsunds Vandrarhem

It's a simple campsite at a good price, with a really nice sea view, but the pictures make it look better than it is. The staff were nice, though check-in was a bit chaotic. They barely seemed to know we'd booked, even though we'd been in touch that same week, and we had to park wherever we wanted. The roads had potholes everywhere, which isn't great when you're towing a caravan. It was also hard to find a place to park the caravan while checking in.

We stayed overnight at this pretty okay campsite. It's cozy by the water, and the price was pretty okay too. I don't mind children making noise, but after 11 pm they should be asleep or at least inside. There was no hot water in the kitchen because the tap had been removed. 👎👎 👍

The view was fantastic, but the room was damp and even the sheets got damp. The windows wouldn't close, so smoke from people outside came straight in, and the corridors smelled of smoke too. The toilets weren't fresh, and the place was poorly cleaned overall.

It looked nice from the outside, but inside it was really run-down and dirty, and the dishwashing room was greasy. The site is on a headland, and it was blowing a storm, so we had to sit in the caravan during our stay or we would have been blown into the water. We finished with a round of golf!
