The room was spotless and had a gorgeous mountain view. We arrived late, but the host welcomed us warmly, explained everything clearly, and showed us where things were. Best STF I’ve visited so far. I’d come back and recommend it to family, friends, and colleagues.

The staff were nice and the price was reasonable, but the place felt dirty. There was paint on the bed sheets, the men’s toilets downstairs were in terrible shape, and the cleaning gear was grimy and sticky. The cutlery and cups were old and dirty too. The floor was dirty when we arrived.

There was an odd tension with the housekeeper. I showed my STF membership card and asked about a room discount, but was shown a bunk bed in an underground room separate from the main building. It looked much like a cellar, and its lock was broken, so I asked for and got a room for 360. I stayed a second night and was surprised to be charged 400. There weren’t any prices posted in the bar or restaurant, so they can charge whatever they want.
