Hunnebergs Gard Hostel & Camping

We camped in the field beside the horses and found it a good spot. The people working here were really nice, and the building and its history were interesting to look around. There’s mini golf and a waterfall nearby too. A lovely place to slow down and rest for a couple of days.

The tent field looks out onto horses on one side and the beautiful old house on the other. The place was clean, including the kitchen and toilets, and the owner was kind. We stayed two nights, with a bonfire each evening, and found the prices very reasonable. We also took day trips to Trollhättan and to Halleberg and Hunneberg, all beautiful and interesting places. I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for somewhere nice to camp.

We slept in our car, and the host arranged the spaces so everyone had room and privacy, which was great. They were helpful too, and I’d definitely come back. The place itself and the surroundings are both very nice. The kitchen is large, and the facilities were clean and had all the toiletries we could need.

The hosts are very welcoming and helped us find places to visit. It’s also a great place for families, campers and mobile homes. For a bit of downtime, there’s a sauna in the basement at no extra charge. We liked sitting in the calm blue room upstairs or out in the garden, and the dining room has a pleasant feel. There’s a big kitchen where you can make breakfast and other meals.
