Belman Hostel

The hostel felt poorly maintained, with a badly kept kitchen and only two toilets for men. It’s also far from transport hubs, so I didn’t find the location convenient. For a similar price, Generator Hostel seems like better value: its rooms have newer, nicer furniture, and bed linen is included.

The metro is right nearby, so getting into the centre was easy, even though it's a decent walk if you go on foot. The kitchen had a microwave and hobs. It was a perfectly nice place for what I paid, and the late opening helped a lot since I hadn't booked ahead.

The owner was a nice guy, though a little strict. We had a great time anyway and I'd stay again. The metro is only seconds away, which was really handy. Beds and rooms were decent, and the showers, kitchen and lounge had everything we needed.

We left before staying. My friend was uncomfortable after the host showed little concern about our belongings, so we decided to go. We'd been locked out at 8:30 and came back at 9:30, but he still wasn't there, even though the listing hadn't said the earliest opening time was 9. The location was terrible, entry hours were very restrictive and made planning difficult, and the staff service was poor.
