Getting around was easy, with good public transport and a great location. Breakfast was okay. But our room was 14 degrees at the end of January because there was no heating. It also felt small and crowded for the price. The room itself had cracks in the walls, and the bed was unstable with a worn mattress. At what we paid, I’d expect these basics to be taken care of so the room is fully usable.

The room worked perfectly for a short stay, and the service was friendly and helpful. The location was great too, just a minute’s walk from the subway.

The location was fantastic, with the subway just steps away and a short walk to old town. I’d stay here again if I came back solo. I also liked having the room key details on the card, since I always forget those things. My single room looked just like the pictures. Check-in was pleasant, they held my luggage until the room was ready, and there’s a lift. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, even though it was a mattress pad on a box spring. The shower had good pressure and temperature, but water gets everywhere, so keep the towel and anything you don’t want wet off the floor. I used the squeegee to push the water away from the toilet and toward the drain before laying the towel down again. The room was advertised as air conditioned, though I’d use that description very lightly. It was so hot when I arrived that I started sweating right away. The window wouldn’t open, and changing the thermostat, even using boost, did nothing. At reception, she confirmed the air was on and brought me a fan, which helped a lot. She said the vent was closed but didn’t offer to open it, so I pried it open in the ceiling myself. With that on boost and turned all the way down, plus the fan about a foot from the bed, I slept really well. Breakfast was basic, but not bad for something included. I’d label the food better, though. I couldn’t find coffee, and some items in jars and containers were hard to identify. Even labels in Swedish would’ve let me use Google Translate.
