Elite Hotel Stockholm Plaza

The room was clean and nothing fancy, but I had no complaints. The location is central enough, within walking distance of subway stops, and it felt very safe to walk alone at night. The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was amazing, with a wide range of food and options for gluten-free guests. I’d just come from London, where I’d stayed at a hotel costing three times as much that didn’t come close to this breakfast. I’d come back and highly recommend it.

The park opposite, Humlegården, was a lovely bonus for a morning walk. Staff were super friendly and spoke great English. Breakfast had a huge spread of hot and cold food, cereal, and coffee available by request. The sauna was amazing. Rooms could be a little larger, but the beds were very comfortable, and I’d definitely stay here again.

That pillow menu was such a nice touch. I can finally leave my ergonomic pillow at home on work trips. The rooms are small, but they work perfectly for business travel. After just the first morning, the breakfast staff remembered I like a flat white, and they made gluten-free oat porridge for me when I asked.

We had a good stay, and the breakfast was a highlight: plenty of choice and well organized. Our room was nice, though sound carried through the walls. Service was good too. When an issue came up, it was sorted out quickly.
