Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel

It was a cool experience staying on a boat. Everything was clean, from the room and corridor to the toilets, and the reception staff were nice even when I woke them at 2.30 am because I was locked out of my room without a key. I enjoyed sitting on the boat and taking in the view. My room looked out at another boat rather than a nice view, but I still recommend it 101%!

The view of the water from my window was excellent, and most things were within walking distance. I stayed in a clean one-person cabin with its own bathroom. It was small but big enough, and the bathroom stayed clean too. I could take a hot shower without water getting all over the floor, which isn't always the case in hotels. The hotel is great value for money. The only staff member I spoke with was the guy who checked me in, and he was really nice/trevlig. I'd highly recommend it for a shorter stay in central Stockholm, though I can imagine the room getting pretty hot in summer.

The ship cabin was an extraordinary experience, and the place was clean, which mattered most to me. There was just enough room for one person, and I enjoyed the stay because I value experiences over luxury.

We only stayed one of the two nights we'd booked in a single room with a private bathroom. We knew it would be small, but the room was even smaller than we expected and freezing, with a bathroom that was almost nonexistent. We left after one night because we slept very hard. The place was quiet and the staff were very helpful, but the room and its quality were poor. The metro is about a 10 minute walk, which could have been nice if there hadn't been snow. I do not recommend it.
