The rooms were fine for two people, and the bathroom was big and spacious. It’s a great spot for shopping, with the shopping district within walking distance, which made it handy for last-minute purchases or souvenirs. The old quarters are a bit farther away.

Breakfast was a bit of a mess. It got very crowded, and staff had trouble keeping everything stocked. The selection also seemed less varied and extensive than at other hotels from the same brand. The hotel itself was clean and orderly, with a very convenient location. Rooms are smaller than at other hotels from the brand, but perfectly fine for a short stay.

It’s quiet here, away from the center of the action, but the tourist sights aren’t far. The room is very, very small. If you’re planning to use it for one person, that means it really is tiny, so you’ll need to upgrade. Breakfast has plenty of choices, though there could be more omelet options. The coffee could be a bit stronger.

Great location, and the receptionists are very friendly. The rooms are quite small, and our room was pretty cold in November. Breakfast had a very good range of food.

The staff were excellent, helpful and easy to work with. For a weekend city break, the location is hard to beat: right in the city center, close to everything on foot and about 10 minutes from Stockholm Train Station, where the Arla Express arrives. The breakfast area gets very crowded, and compared with the breakfast standard at other Scandic Hotels, the food choices felt a bit limited, with no fish or pates. A room on the 5th floor may also be an issue, as it’s dark and has a small window.
