Unity Hammarby Sjöstad - A Studio Hotel

The room was clean and orderly, and breakfast was simple but nice. Check-in was easy, with the option to do it yourself, and the staff were very friendly. It’s in a quiet spot close to the city center, with nearby restaurants within walking distance. Tram connections make getting around the rest of the city easy.

What stood out was how carefully everything was handled and how willing the staff were to go the extra mile. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly, and the service felt reliable throughout. It’s rare to get both high quality and such a positive customer experience. I’d highly recommend it. 😊♥️

We were looking forward to staying at Unity, and our earlier emails had been answered well, but we’ve now been unable to reach Unity Hammarby Sjöstad for six days to change our booking. Phone, email, Facebook, Instagram, and the website have all got us nowhere. I checked the contact information and confirmed it’s legitimate, not a scam. We may have to make other arrangements for our Stockholm stay, which is bizarre when we used to communicate fine. I hope someone gets in touch soon. Update, May 2026: After 19 calls over two days, we finally reached reception at Hammett Sjöstad Unity by phone. They said they’d been updating their email and booking system, but still haven’t replied to our earlier emails asking to extend the booking. We don’t feel confident about the stay anymore, so we’ll look for accommodation with a provider that communicates better. We’ll try again next year.

We won’t return or recommend this place. The staff are very arrogant, and whenever we had a problem, they either asked for money or said they couldn’t help with basic things like cleaning and heating. Breakfast is cheap: just bread with two choices, cheese and salami. If you’re lactose intolerant, that leaves you with nothing. The salami looked cheap, so I didn’t eat anything. Nothing. Now they won’t let us leave without paying for the whole week, even though we stayed only one night.
